Don’t be the champion, be the beginner 🥉

Sometimes thinking like a student will lead to more success than thinking like a winner.

My thoughts on:

  • My sister’s approach to her goals
  • Why we don’t achieve the big goals we set for ourselves
  • Why the small wins are so important

Why you’re always the leader even when you’re not ✋🏼

No matter what role you are, why you’re still a leader.

In this video, I discuss:

  • Collegiate dance teams
  • Being the victim vs. taking responsibility
  • Why you’re always the leader, regardless of your role in an organization

As usual, let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for “Thought of the Day” topics. I respond to every comment 🙂

Why leaving the shopping cart behind can be the way to go.

In this video, I discuss:

  • Why I disregard shopping carts
  • Efficiency during grocery shopping
  • Why inconvenience is the way to go

As usual, let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for “Thought of the Day” topics. I respond to every comment 🙂

Why we hate on noobs at the gym

The true reason why we are mean to others who cannot keep their resolutions.

This video was inspired by a Facebook post my friend shared recently.

It was about a woman who was new to a gym being bullied by other members for not knowing how to use the equipment.

I dig into the true reason why we hate on people who cannot keep their New Year resolutions to work out longer than 2 weeks into the year.

Why you shouldn’t finish all of your food

Most of what holds us back from achieving out goals are our mental scrips we got as kids.

I was inspired to record a video and discuss my thoughts this past Friday when we had free food at work.

In this video I talk about how the mental scripts that we got when we were younger may not serve us well as we get older and have different goals we want to achieve.

As usual, please let me know in the comments how you felt, if you agree, disagree, or just give me a like to let me know you enjoyed it!

Are you annoying or charming?

What is the difference between being annoying and charming?

I had a discussion with a friend the other day about the concept of Creepy vs Romantic.

The idea is that there is a very thin line between the two. The only thing that separates whether or not you see someone’s actions as “creepy” or “romantic” is whether or not you like that person back.

The same concept applies to “annoying” and “charming” in my opinion.

Just to add on to what I say in the video, I think this self-awareness could also help when you come across to other people. Its good to know whether or not you’re coming across as charming or annoying to the people around you.

This is easy if you know whether or not they like you, haha.
