About

Hello there, I’m Marlo Yonocruz

As a career, I’m a Technical Project Manager and Agile Coach for software development teams.

I’m also a dance instructor, avid book reader, life-hack junkie, YouTube content creator, and online habit coach.

As much as I love traveling the world, seeing new places, and experiencing new things, I also enjoy staying in and watching movies. Pre-pandemic, you could find me at the local AMC watching 7-8 movies a month.

My main mission in life is to commit to lifelong learning so that I can teach others and help them create the results they want in their own lives.

This blog was initially for me to practice creating great content that adds value, whether they be book reviews, movie reviews, satirical pieces, chronicles of my self-experimentation, or other big ideas. Over time, however, a majority of what I produce are book summaries, which a majority of my viewers come here for.

In the coming months, I’m going to be revamping this site and producing additional book-related content that I hope my readers will enjoy. By the beginning of next year, I hope to have my new podcast launched. The concept will be interview-style discussion to tease out lessons, habits, and principles of success from various guests on the show. So stay tuned!

Thank you for reading, following, sharing. 🙏🏼 If you haven’t already done so, subscribe to my book summary email newsletter, or directly to this blog!

  1. Thank you for your insight book summary of “Born A Crime”! Trevor Noah did an incredible job penning the ins and outs of his extraordinary life as did you reviewing his book.
